If you receive a message that your "Camera isn't connected", there are a few things to try.
First, don't be afraid to press the camera module firmly into place. You may feel like you're pushing too hard, but most of the time, a firm touch will properly seat the camera.
If you've done that and are still receiving the message, detach the camera and close the ION360 U app. Reboot your phone and while you wait for it to power back up, reset the battery case by inserting a pin into the pinhole near the charging port. Press for a full 15 to 20 seconds and release. Then, reattach the camera and reopen the ION360 U app. This should solve the problem.
